Integrated Yield Management Methods workshops have been a very successful programs serving a World Wide client base for over 18 years. Early in 1987, while still at IBM ® , Mel Effron initiated the IYMM Workshops to train many large and midsize, Independent Device Manufacturers (IDM) in Advanced Yield Management practices.

In 1993, Mel took the opportunity of early retirement to expand the IYMM Workshops services to include long-term Consulting for the implementation of the best of the IYMM practices. YSI's client base grew globally to include many IDMs in Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

In the past years, Yield Systems Inc. has expanded the client base and interest in the IYMM Workshops to include the training of several analytical Software developers; Manufacturers of FAB and Flat Panel Equipment; manufacturers of specialized short loop control systems; and many specialty companies serving the electronic high technology industries.

In 1995, 1998, and as recently as 2004, YSI has performed comprehensive Benchmark Surveys. The 2004 Benchmark Survey was participated in by 22 World Wide IDM Fabricators and Foundries. YSI is proud to say, many of the Survey Participants have been long term clients of YSI. Trust and confidence to deliver promised value has been the cornerstone of YSI's client relationship.
